Indian Summer Mixtape

For whatever reason, ‘summer’ (i.e. a time period with warm, sunny weather) seems to be avoiding June, July and August in the UK these days. Be it a climatic change induced by man, an odd coincidence or a child-hating cosmic power than enjoys schoolkids being stuck in warm classrooms, the current weather patterns don’t seem to adhere to the conventional seasons.

I’ve put together a mixtape of songs, old(ish) and new, that should accompany the sun. It probably won’t last long so have a listen over the weekend while desperately clinging on to 2011’s brighter months. After all, the clocks will be going back soon and we’ll all be trudging home in the dark.
